Shipping to Canada is VERY expensive

I was in conversation with this company about shipping. I usually shop in person but this is not possible right now as they are only selling online in Vancouver.

After many personal emails, I paid the shipping fee because I do like their dresses. Then, there was an additional $83.00 to have the dresses come to Canada. I contacted the company, and this was their response “our FAQ does specify that recipients are responsible for all import-related costs.” The tone changed from a small company chatting with me to a cold corporate response.

They weren’t wrong. It is in their FAQ so decide for yourself what you think. I won’t be buying another dress from them. I share this story so Canadians know the cost of shipping the two dresses was $131.00.

There are other local choices for similar styled dresses.
